It is the latest discovery in the field of particle physics and one that has attracted much attention from the mainstream media. Some have called it the “God Particle” or “the last piece in the puzzle of the Universe”. But what exactly is the Higgs Boson?

Come and join the discussion in this exciting edition of the AAAS-Caribbean Science Café on the work surrounding the discovery of the Higgs Boson. The discussion will be led by Professor Angel M. López from the Physics Department at the Mayagüez Campus of the University of Puerto Rico.
